Unlike BA-001, which is a flanged (AV-CFR) butterfly valve, BA-002 is described as a wafer-type butterfly valve, which in the ACE Valve product range is typically the AV-CWR series. The AV-CWR is a concentric rubber-lined butterfly valve available in sizes from DN50 to DN3000, compatible with JIS 5K/10K, ANSI, DIN, and BS flanges. It provides bi-directional sealing with low operating torque and is widely used in marine ballast, seawater, freshwater, and cooling water systems.
